元旦的前一天，也就是十二月三十一日，我们学校为了庆祝元旦，举行了盛大的有趣运动会。
上午八时四十分，操场上人山人海，人声鼎沸，各种讲话声、呼喊声不绝于耳，同学们怀着激动的心情，等待活动的开展。一会儿，迎面接力赛开始了，只听到“啪”的一声枪响，选手们像离弦之箭冲了出去。旁边的同学一边鼓掌，一边大声高呼，加油、加油，为选手助威呐喊。同学们有的拍红了手掌，有的喊哑了嗓子。选手们你来我往，最后一名同学终于冲过了终点，结果我们班得了第二名，二班得了第一名，二班得了第三名。第二个比赛项目是拍球，我是一名拍球选手，只听到一声哨响，我立即放下球，迅速地拍起球来，只听到同学们不停地数着数，一、二、……一百、二百……其他同学不停地为我加油助威，过了一分钟，又是一声哨响，比赛结束了，结果二班第一名，我们第二名，二（2）班第三名。
