Competition can stimulate people to try their best to do anything.For example, in 100-meter race, each sportsman runs as quickly as poible, trying to win the
champion.The same things happen in our society and in our daily life.If a company wants to surpa others, it must compete with them.It must raise its efficiency.All the companies doing this will no doubt benefit the whole society and the whole human race.Without competition,it is hard to imagine what will offer our world with so much energy to move forward
Being a student, I must compete with other students in our studies.I must study hard in all the fields so that I can be a useful man when I enter the society after graduation.
今天下午最后一节课，老师让我们演讲竞选班干部。
第一个上台演讲的是王珂芸，她口齿清楚，声音响亮，赢得了好多同学的喜爱。开始举手表决了，李老师开始数：1、2、3、446、47、48，48票。李老师一边大声说着，一边在黑板上写下了她的名字与票数。哇！下面一片惊叹声。
第二个是柴艺宁，她讲得可好了，把我都给感动了，我的手也不由自主地举了起来，要知道我可是不会轻易给别人投票的。李老师面前一片手的森林，我们班虽然只有52个人，但巳有50个人投了她一票。20分钟过去了，黑板上的名字越来越多，敢于上台的人越来越少李老师开始倒计时：没人了吗？10—9—8—7我心想：要是我今天不上去，可就跟班干部无缘了，不行，我的上去。在李老师的0字快脱口而出时，我赶紧冲了上去。我走上讲台，全班同学（包括老师）都把目光投向了我，我鼓起勇气，清清嗓子，大胆地把我想当班干部的想法都说了出来，心里想：我就死马当成活马医吧，也不知我在同学们的心目中到底是什么地位，算了，走一步是一步吧。开始投票，李老师一声令下，一大帮同学都把票投给我，大约占了全班人数的三分之二，我真是又高兴又感动，高兴的是全班同学居然有这么多同学给我投了一票，感动的是------唉，不说大家也知道。后来呢，李老师就把我们这些敢于上台的同学都评为中队长，我别提有多开心了。
今天，我不仅当上了中队长，还学会了一样重要的东西，那就是—勇气！
