今天是元旦节。早上，我早早地起了床，就把正在熟睡的妈妈吵醒了，叫她带我去翠屏山玩。妈妈把我没办法，只好不情愿地从床上爬起来。
我们来到街上，街上人山人海。商店门口挂满了五颜六色的气球，而商家们都在搞各种各样的促销活动，也吸引了许多消费者。我们慢慢的来到了翠屏山脚下。翠屏山的人也真多啊。我们一直爬到了山顶，累的我们气喘吁吁。然后我们跑去喂鸽子。鸽子的嘴壳尖尖的，淡红淡红的。两颗眼睛像黑宝石，滴溜溜的转动。它的羽毛雪白雪白的，两只爪子是粉红的，非常可爱。我用买来的饲料喂它们，它们就用尖尖的嘴壳不停地啄我手上的饲料，弄得我手心痒痒的。这些鸽子非常调皮，它们一会儿飞到我头上，一会儿飞到我肩上，不一会儿就把我弄得哈哈大笑。
我们又来到了灵珠广场。人们有的在湖边观赏鱼儿，有的在打羽毛球，有的正在跳绳。他们的脸上都挂着灿烂的笑容，洋溢着新年的快乐。
