What day is it today? It’s New Years Eve! what a happy day! Everybody in my family is ready for Spring Festival. They bought something to eat, like chicken, beef, meat. They bought something to drink, like Coke, milk, coffee, juice, whisky. Some people in the village always play fireworks to welcome this traditional festival, we also do it.
And next, what should I do? Yeah , my sister and I can get presents from our parents and grandparents. The most important thing is I can get red bag. As you know, when I accept a present, I must use both hands and say” thank you”. At Spring Festival, we can’t cut hair, so I cut hair a few days before.
Tomorrow,we are going to visit friends and relations. It’s always glad to meet old friends, isn’t it?
Oh, don’t forget it,today is also Yunho’s birthday,he’s my favourite singer from Korea. He is the leader of TVXQ,I hope he can have a good time,too.

New year s day, grandma s snow, the roof, branches, the car is full of white, beautiful scenery! My parents and I went back to grandma s for the Chinese new year.
As soon as I arrived at my grandmother s house, I saw Qian Qian s sister and aunt, and received a lot of red envelopes. I was very happy. Later, we went to a small shop to buy something to eat. On the way, I saw a lovely dog, I am very happy, thought: if I had such a plush dog. But mother said, the dog has bacteria, if we accidentally let the dog scratch, will go to the hospital for injection. The Lunar New Year is a great occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first four days of the year，during which people do not work except for the workers on duty. Students do not go to school，and shops are closed.
Several days before the new year，people begin to prepare. Farmers kill pigs，sheep，cocks and hens. City dwellers buy meat fish and vegetables. Houses are cleaned; couplets are posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate.
